Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Bible Way to Heaven:
1. Admit you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
No one is good enough to go to Heaven on his own merit. No matter how much good we do, we still come short.
2. Realize the Penalty for Sin
Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death…
Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ Died, was Buried, and Rose Again for you.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
4. Trust Christ Alone as Your Saviour
Romans 6:23b …But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 10:13b For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Eternal life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith. Anyone who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved forever. Being saved is a one time event.
The Sinner's Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins, I repent of my sins, I invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus name.
